Privacy Policy

Crestwave ("Crestwave", "we", "us", or "our") provides a standalone market intelligence app and a public information website. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Standalone iOS workspace

The standalone iOS 26 or newer version of Crestwave uses a device-local workspace and does not require a Crestwave account. Watchlists, notes, settings, downloaded facts, and saved research are stored on your device. Its Apple Intelligence analysis runs locally when supported hardware, an enabled downloaded model, and a supported language are available. Private Cloud Compute is not enabled in this version.

Market data, public filings, and news are requested directly from their providers. Those providers receive your network address and the requested instrument, feed, or article URL; their own privacy policies govern those requests. The app does not send notes, backup passwords, or complete workspace exports to market-data providers or a Crestwave server. Opening a source link uses that source's website.

You can choose to prepare selected public sources, available numerical facts, and a new question for external analysis. Review the packet before transferring it with Share or Copy. Preparing the packet does not contact an external AI service. The app does not add private notes, saved conversations, credentials, or unselected workspace content. The recipient app or service you choose governs any subsequent processing under its own privacy and usage terms. External analysis is optional.

Apple handles and verifies the permanent, non-consumable app purchase. The standalone app has no subscription. Local content is separate from purchase ownership. Downloaded data and automatic research have storage and retention limits; research you explicitly save retains its original evidence until you remove it or replace your workspace.

There is no automatic cloud synchronization or app-managed cloud backup. Use Settings to clear downloads and create an encrypted workspace export. Keep the export and its password safe: Crestwave cannot recover a forgotten backup password or device-local content after it is lost. Purchases and provider credentials are excluded from exports. Sending a support message shares the information you choose to include with us.

1. Website and support

The public website does not offer accounts, sign-in, subscriptions or an email waitlist. Hosting providers may process network addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. If you contact support, we receive the message and contact information you provide and use them to respond to your request. We do not sell personal information.

2. Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law, including rights to object to or restrict certain processing.

3. International users

Crestwave is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

4. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Crestwave evolves. Material updates will be reflected by changing the last updated date and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice.
